‘Improvised explosive’ found near play park in south Belfast

There is anger in south Belfast after a viable improvised explosive device was found close to a school and play park.

The suspicious object was discovered on Friday at Blythe Street and was made safe before being removed by the Army.

Local MLA Christopher Stalford said anyone with information on how it got there should come forward.
