Malaysian police detonate suspected improvised explosive device found in Kuala Lumpur

Police in Kuala Lumpur on Wednesday (Mar 9) detonated two suspected plastic bottles that were believed to be part of an improvised explosive device, the Star newspaper reported.

The items were found at the basement carpark of the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre and were believed to have been discovered by passers-by who were on their way to a concert by American singer Richard Marx.
