Priest Pleads Guilty To Providing Explosive Material To East Windsor Teen

HARTFORD — A priest who used to serve two parishes in East Windsor pleaded guilty Tuesday in federal court to a felony charge of willfully distributing explosive material to a person younger than 21.

The Rev. Paul Gotta, 58, faces up to a year in prison and three years of supervised release when he is sentenced May 19.

Gotta’s guilty plea came as part of an agreement negotiated by his attorney, Moira L. Buckley, and Assistant U.S. Attorney Robert M. Spector.
